I have a design degree from Fisher College in Boston. This is where my love for interior design began. I worked through school as a visual merchandiser. I designed and decorated the windows for a clothing store in downtown Boston. I did all of the store's interior displays too. A little bit like staging a home. I have been decorating interiors for friends and family as a hobby ever since.

I went on to get a business degree from Boston University. My entire education was self financed and I graduated Magna Cum Laude. I worked in the Boston finance industry for 15 years for a publicly traded, investment management firm with over $100 billion in assets under management. I was in charge of managing corporate financial risk through the use of insurance products. I managed the corporate stock department and all things related to our employee stock plans and public offerings. I issued press releases, compiled analysts data and distributed quarterly and annual reports to shareholders. I worked long hours and developed a strong work ethic.

I have to say that my favorite part of the job was managing corporate contributions. I learned a lot about volunteerism and charitable giving! I served on the annual auction and dinner committee for Camp Fire Boys and Girls of Boston for many years. We had some really great times working on those events. I served on the planning committee for MS Night at the POPs for 12 years. We raised over $1 million for the Boston Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society through this single annual event. A few years ago, I met a bunch of my former co-workers in Boston to attend the event. They surprised me at the dinner with an award. My old boss was co-chairing and arranged the whole thing. I was elbow deep in appetizer when they called me up. Embarrassing but also one of the proudest moments in my life. I realized that even though I was standing in a room filled with people who had written huge checks year after year, my hard work and dedication was something that they felt was important enough to acknowledge.

When Sam was born, I left the corporate world to be a stay at home mom. This is when we moved to Florida. I immediately became involved in the community through volunteer work. I have served on a few boards and committees over the years. I am currently serving on the Hidden Oaks Middle School PTA Board for Ways and Means. I am also a past board member of the Temple, member of the Education and Gala Committees and volunteer coordinator.

We chose to live in Martin County because of the excellent reputation of the schools and all the great amenities Palm City has to offer. We have never regretted our decision to leave Boston. I enjoy my life here and hope that this will come across to my customers.
